William Hoodless is based in Wargrave near Henley and has been sculpting for the last 10 years. He is largely self taught and creates figurative sculptures in clay or soft wax for casting in bronze or resin.
He is inspired by the athletic capabilities of the human body and uses knowledge gained from his degree in anatomical sciences and many years of elite sport training, to evoke the dynamism of athletic poses.
Most of his sculptures are done for his own interest, but he is also happy to take on commissions of figurative sculptures where a client’s wishes and his own design inspiration can be combined.
